Team Jeff Stoughton Wins Ninth Men’s Curling Title

(WINNIPEG, Manitoba) February 14, 2010 – Team Jeff Stoughton is now the 2011 Manitoba men’s curling champion. The win happened at the Safeway Championship final in Beausejour, Manitoba this weekend and marks Team Stoughton’s ninth Manitoba provincial championship. Team Stoughton is now qualified to represent Manitoba at the Tim Hortons Brier in London, Ontario, March 4 to 13, 2011.

Team Stoughton is made up of Jeff Stoughton (skip), Steve Gould (lead), Reid Carruthers (second) and John Mead (third). Jeff Stoughton has been curling for 31 years and has won nine provincial championships, two brier championships and World and Players championships.
