JELD-WEN Partners Win Industry Achievement Award

CanSave’s Larry and Cully Koza Honoured by LBMAO

(WINNIPEG, Manitoba) February 10, 2011 – JELD‐WEN Windows and Doors’ partner CanSave, a leading Canadian wholesale distributor, was presented the Lumber and Building Materials Association of Ontario (LBMAO) Industry Achievement Award on Thursday, February 10, 2011. CanSave founders Larry Koza and Cully Koza accepted the award at the LBMAO annual dinner and Canadian Home Improvement Merchandising awards.

The annual honour is given to a vendor or retailer who demonstrates value for their customers and who has made significant contributions to their industry. The LBMAO has been giving out the award since 1989 and previous winners include representatives from TIM‐BR MART, Castle Building Centre and Beaver Lumber.

“We’re absolutely delighted,” says Larry Koza, CanSave co‐founder. “We’ve been able to build a fantastic team over the years and we value the support that JELD‐WEN has given us. They’re a key partner and we look forward to a long future with them.”

Founded in 1982, CanSave supplies building materials and doors to over 1,600 new construction and renovation dealers in Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada. CanSave and JELD‐WEN partnered in 2002 to distribute JELD‐WEN exterior doors under the Doorsmith name and interior doors under the JELD‐WEN brand. The main focus for both parties has been to deliver products that add value to the supply chain and that anticipate and react to changing market trends.

“We’ve been working closely with Larry and Cully for over eight years,” says Sante Cigana, JELD‐WEN Canada vice president. “We’re extremely pleased that the pair has been recognized for their outstanding work in the industry. Congratulations.”
